Retro Fit Emmission Solutions
DPF Sales and Service Australia specializes in the development and production of air purification catalysts and systems for mobile and stationary applications.
Since 2015 DPF Sales and Service Australia through our Rhino Quality Parts brand has been developing Quality Exhaust After-treatment Systems for the passenger, commercial and mining sectors and is committed to exhaust emission reductions from diesel engines of all makes and applications.
DPF Sales and Service Australia partnered with our manufacturer, have a fully equipped R&D laboratory for catalyst development and performance evaluation. Our experienced manufacturer has been developing and manufacturing retro fit systems worldwide for 20 years and has developed systems for conversion for multinational corporations with fleets of 3000 vehicles.
Our retro fit system consists of a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and a Catalyzed Diesel Particulate Filter (CDPF) which is used to remove the exhaust gases and particulate matter produced by diesel engines.
Diesel oxidation catalyst uses a flow-through metallic substrate coated with precious metals of platinum and palladium. When CO & HC come into contact with the catalyst, they will be converted into CO2 and H2O at a certain temperature and in the correct application can give a 95% reduction for CO and 90% reduction for HC.
The Catalyzed diesel particulate filter uses a wall-flow DPF filter. The channel is open at one end and blocked at the other, allowing for the exhaust gases to permeate through the wall flow filter. Filter Micro pore sizes are 8~13 microns.
When the exhaust gases and particulate matter enter the filter, the gases can pass through directly and 95.0~99.9% particulate matter will be trapped (≥10nm). If the soot cannot be burned off, the filter will be blocked in a noticeably short time and the engine will lose power or submit to limp mode.
So, a proprietary catalyst coating can be made to suit the application with the correct proportion of precious metals which will burn off the soot automatically at an exceptionally low temperature. Sometimes referred to as passive regeneration or Self-cleaning soot regeneration.
SCR- Selective Catalytic Reduction
This system can efficiently and quickly remove nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted from diesel exhaust by catalytic reduction.
The working principle is that the reducing agent such as urea, liquid ammonia or gaseous ammonia is sprayed into the exhaust pipe so that the nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas can react with the reducing agent under the action of the catalyst. The result being the nitrogen oxides are reduced into N2 and H2O.
In order to prevent ammonia leakage during the use of the SCR system, an ammonia oxidation catalyst is provided at the end of the SCR to allow the escaped ammonia gas to be reacted as much as possible to prevent any secondary exhaust gas pollution.
The diesel engine exhaust after-treatment double descending system, manufactured by DPF Sales and Service Australia is made up of DOC + CDPF + SCR. Its DOC + CDPF system, applies a ≥95% soot reduction and automatic regeneration performance of particulate matter (PM) or on the number of particles PN, referred to as: Soot self-cleaning.
The SCR system is a closed loop system of dual nitrogen oxide sensor combination which has the advantages of urea injection precision, high NOx reduction, fast reaction and is not easy crystallized.
In addition, it also removes CO (80~95%) and HC (70~90%) of other gas pollutants, meeting increasingly strict environmental protection regulations in Australia and New Zealand.

The exhaust aftertreatment system can also be equipped with a complete 24 hour online monitoring system which can monitor the use of the filter in real time and facilitate with pre- maintenance schedules and after-sales service.
Through the monitoring system, data from the engine and filter can be achieved such as, engine exhaust temperature, pressure increase of filter, PM count and GPS tracking.
